  • Article No. 1
  • In accordance with the General Law of Cooperatives and its regulations as well as the Cooperative¡¯s founding basis, each and all members are obliged to respect theInternal Regulations of the work.
  • Article No. 2
  • All of the members must understand the content of the present Regulations and keep one copy of it.
  • Article No. 3
  • Any member who fails to attend at the Assembly or General Meeting convoked 7days in advance, must pay 22-time minimum salary as penalty.
  • Article No. 4
  • Any member who fails to attend at General Meetings without well-grounded reason must pay $250.00 (two hundred and fifty, 00/100) Mexican pesos as penalty, whenever it is clear that the Meeting is programmed 5 days in advance. Any member who attends at Meetings and Assembly inebriated will be expelled from the Meeting place and be fined $250.00 (two hundred and fifty, 00/100) Mexican pesos. Besides $10.00 (ten, 00/100) Mexican pesos will be charged each time to those whofail to attend at Meetings including meetings for discussion (Mesa de Debates).
  • Article No. 5
  • Any member who will be out of the village and not be able to attend at Meetings and Assembly must justify his or her absence showing a payment receipt or medical prescription. If not, such member will be penalized in accordance with the Articles No. 3 and No.4 of the Regulations.
  • Article No. 6
  • Any member who will not sign the notification of Meetings and Assembly will be fined $250.00 (two hundreds and fifty, 00/100) Mexican pesos.
  • Article No. 7
  • On the occasion of Meetings and Assembly, the date of the next Meeting will be defined which could be between 1st and 5th of the month.
  • Article No. 8
  • Those Directors and Commissioners, whose administrative job does not work properly, will be warned in written for the first time. For the second time they will be fined $5,000.00 (five thousands) Mexican pesos and as the third occasion they will be removed from duty and subject to the judgment of the Board of Directors.
  • Article No. 9
  • It is an obligation for the Accountant to attend at the meetings of the Board of Directors, General Meetings and Assembly. Besides, when he or she is requested to take care of procedures and formalities with Commissioners, he or she must be present as soon as possible.
  • Article No. 10
  • All the penalty charges stipulated in the Internal Regulations will be collected by Treasurer of the Administration. Any member, who rejects the payment or offends any Director or Administrative staff, for the first time, will be fined $500.00 (five hundreds) Mexican pesos, for the second time, $1,000.00 (one thousand) Mexican pesos. Thus, this penalty will continue.
  • Article No. 11
  • Any member who is detected doing ¡°illegal sale¡± of the Cooperative¡¯s products will be expelled from the Cooperative without any right to claim his goods which will be transferred to the Cooperative¡¯s property. These good are, for instance, lobster fields, boats, engines and corresponding amount of payment during the lobster catch season. The same penalty will be charged to any member who does not respect the close season.
  • Article No. 12
  • It is an obligation of each member of the Cooperative to mark permanently his or her limitedfields where lobster traps are set.
  • Article No. 13
  • Any member,being caught short, who invades other fisher¡¯sfields with nets, traps, etc., will lose automatically those instruments. The traps of the invader will be passed to the invaded fisher.
  • Article No. 14
  • The use of stationary silk and monofilament nets is forbidden in the Bay ofAscension.
  • Article No. 15
  • Any member, being caught short, who catches lobsters by diving in others¡¯ lobster fields where the traps are set, inside and outside the coral reef, will lose his or her boat, engine and equipment (Cuban shades).
  • Article No. 16
  • Any member, being caught short, who dumps fish waste and lobsters¡¯ heads in the diving fields or beaches of this village; that are from mangrove swamp atYaxmogote to 100m south of the lighthouse of Ascension, and the pier of the River, will be fined $50.00 (fifty 00/100) Mexican pesos.
  • Article No. 17
  • Any member who introduces expelled persons from the Cooperative or aliens to fish will be fined $2,000.00 (two thousands 00/100) Mexican pesos when it is the first time. For the second time said member will be suspended to catch lobsters during the season.
  • Article No. 18
  • The Cooperative allows only the students of Technical School of Fishery to catch lobsters by means of showing their ID documents to the Administrative officers of the Cooperative. If not, the member who introduces alien to fish without said documents will be penalized in accordance with the Article No. 17.
  • Article No. 19
  • Any member who takes with him or her relatives to fish must inform the guard to have a permission and authorization.
  • Article No. 20
  • All the members who do not have their fields adjacent to the fore-reef,are forbidden to dive freely for lobsters since there are a great number of ovigerous lobsters.
  • Article No. 21
  • The vigilance is maintained on smallsize of lobsters. Any member with small lobsters, being caught short on boat or in anywhere, will be fined $1,000.00 (one thousand 00/100) Mexican pesos per 1kg, in accordance with the Assembly¡¯s agreement.
  • Article No. 22
  • Any member, being caught short, who has in possession lobster tails with remains of egg-mass will fined $1,000.00 (one thousand 00/100) Mexican pesos.
  • Article No. 23
  • Any member, by mistake, who catches ovigerous lobsters alive and if rejects to release them will be fined $500.00 (five hundreds 00/100) Mexican pesos.
