• ICFO Personal Computer Donations
  • ICFO donated 20 personal computers to 4 fisheries cooperatives of 4 countries for helping the computerization of work. The organizations are Bangladesh National Cooperative Union, Vietnam Co-operatives Alliance, Cooperative Union of Philippines, Sri Lanka National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative Societies LTD. ICFO also believes that the donation will strengthen and revitalize its organization.
  • The secretariat sent application forms to its members and former members and received 8 replies. The secretariat evaluated them thoroughly by considering a few factors such as business volumes, the possibility to rejoin the ICFO, etc.
  • In this connection, the ICFO Chairman and Secretary General visited the recipients for the delivery of the computers from 30 July to 7 August, 2010. After the brief donation ceremonies Mr. LEE Jong-Koo exchanged information with their representatives on the revitalization of ICFO. The chairman also requested the Presidents of Cooperative Union of Philippines, Sri Lanka National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative Societies LTD to rejoin ICFO and to actively participate in ICFO.
