  • A total of 16 persons from 6 countries attended the meetings, namely:
  • - 12 from 6 member organizations of 6 countries, and
  • - 5 from 3 non-member organizations of 3 countries
  • 1. Opening
  • Mr. Lee, Jong-koo, ICFO Chairman, gave the opening address. He proposed that since the number of participants were few, and the agendas of the ICFO Executive Members Meeting and the ICFO General Assembly were identical, except that the General Assembly additionally reported on the activities of the ICFO member organizations, the two meetings should be combined as one meeting. This proposal was unanimously approved.

  • (4) Audit Report on the FY 2012 ICFO’s Accounts
  • Auditing of the FY 2012 ICFO accounts was done by Mr. Wibisono Wiyono, ICFO Auditor, on 16 June 2013 at Sheraton Surabaya Hotel while the 3rd World Fisheries Cooperative Day was held in Indonesia.
  • 3) Agenda for Decision
  • (1) Membership Application of the National Fisheries Federation, Sri Lanka The National Fisheries Federation, Sri Lanka became a new ICFO member.
  • (2) Election of ICFO Chairman
  • Mr. Lee Jong-koo was reelected as an ICFO Chairman.
  • (3) Approval of the new President of JF ZENGYOREN to become an Executive Member
  • Mr. Ikuhiro Hattori, Executive Member of the ICFO, stepped down as the President of JF ZENGYOREN in June 2013. His successor, Mr. Kishi Hiroshi, was approved as a new Executive Member by the ICFO representatives.
  • (4) Next ICFO Annual Meetings
  • The 2014 ICFO annual meetings will be held in Indonesia with the ICA AP Regional Assembly.
  • (5) ICFO Scholarship Program
  • The ICFO will support scholarship and boarding expenses for two university (college) graduates of ICFO members who majored in fisheries next year. They will take graduate course at Pukyung National University in Korea.
